Waiting for a visit from the chevreman, this is Shlemiel and Shlemazel escaping into the good life, writing about and building legend around fine cigars and booze.

Went to the Cigar Box with some Israeli musician friends and Yosi. Their first cigar and scotch (got them some Hoyos, Punches, and Cragganmore) went beautifully - they soaked up every second and left on Cloud 9!

For a really cheap cigar, these Gran Habano Corojo Vintage 2000 Churchills are DELICIOUS! Totally surprised by the richness of these things. They’re almost creamy.

It’s Schlemazel in Milwaukee for Pesach.

The boys after Schlemiel’s daughter’s bat mitzvah.

Here’s the absolutely amazing cognac I had tonite - super smooth, no edge, sweet and caramelly, just incredible with the Upmann.

Since I finished their bottle, they have a tradition of sending the empty receptacle with you on your way, so here it is.

Schlemazal Goes To Vegas!

Here I am at Andre’s Cigar and Cognac Lounge with the lady. It’s the life. Having an amazing time - after a fine meal at the Dragon Noodle House at the Monte Carlo, I’m smoking a beautiful Upmann Dominican toro and drinking an amazing cognac (see next post).

An evening amongst chevremen.

Brothers Phil and Dave out at the Cigar Box on a recent evening. Dave smokes maduros - specifically, a petit corona Fuente and a beautiful Onyx toro. I smoked me a Fuente natural double chateau AND a Romeo y Julieta natural robusto. Yum.

The Father.

Smokin’ a Gurkha maduro toro. Shoulda seen the smoke rings before this shot…

A huge, delicious Churchill La Gloria Cubana, the 5 Vegas double corona pictured above, and some 1792 bourbon in the garage during a storm. Yum.

The Dapper Dude pictured here, Matt from San Fran, is a close (lifelong) friend of Shlemiel’s. He’s smoking a cuban, on a hot date, single and blazing up the big city.

Swanky, brotha!

Smoking Arturo Fuente Double Chateaus today at the holy land with our favorite Israeli buddy, Yosi.

These things are up there in my Top 5. They’re mild-medium but with a full-body of flavor - delicious with the Java Dave’s coffee I had with it. $6 each - not be beaten.
